So you’re having a hard time relaxing? Or don’t even know where to begin? Well, I’m here to help! Here are a few things you can do TODAY to help you relax and enjoy life as it’s meant to be - stress-free.
Step One: Cute Cat Videos
Check out this video of cats being cute. It may not be a scientifically studied method of stress release and relaxation, but gosh, are they cute!
Step Two: Disconnect
Okay jokes aside, here’s your second real tip on what you can do to help you relax. If you’re like me, you’re continuously tapped into social media - constantly consuming all types of content both adorable (like the cat video above) and heartbreaking like another mass shooting. This is a lot for any person to continue to consume consistently throughout the day and can cause anxiety and stress just thinking about the weight of the world and all of the bad (and the good isn’t enough to balance it out). When this is the case, and everything starts to feel overwhelming: DISCONNECT. I know it’s easier said than done, especially when you’re an hour deep into a TikTok hole. However, your mind will thank you, and you can use that time to focus on other projects and interests. Interests like the other relaxation tips also included in this list.
